Where to find your credentials

SanMar FTP access is not self-service — you need to request it from SanMar directly:

  1. Contact the SanMar Integration team at [email protected] or call 800-426-6399 x6458.

  2. Let them know you need FTP data feed access for a third-party integration.

  3. SanMar will send you an Integration Agreement to sign and return.

  4. Once approved, they'll provide your FTP username and password.

Important: Your FTP password may be different from your sanmar.com web login password. If you do not have your FTP username and password, contact SanMar at [email protected] or call 800-426-6399 x6458.

SanMar Canada

SupplyMaster connects to SanMar Canada with Bulk Data SOAP API credentials. These are not the same as a sanmar.ca website login, a media password, or FTP credentials.

Field

What to Enter

User Email

SanMar Canada API email

Account ID

SanMar Canada account ID

SOAP API Password

Bulk Data SOAP API password (not the sanmar.ca website password)

REST API Password

REST API password (required backup field)

Where to find your credentials

  1. Contact SanMar Canada and request Bulk Data SOAP API Access for the account.

  2. Once enabled, SanMar Canada provides the User Email, Account ID, SOAP API password, and REST API password.

  3. Enter all four values in SupplyMaster, then click Test Credentials.

Do not use a sanmar.ca website login, media password, or FTP username/password for normal setup. Those credential types are not accepted in the SanMar Canada connection fields.

All four fields are required. Test Credentials validates the SOAP connection (pass codes 200 or 125). The REST password is stored as a backup and is not what determines Test Credentials success.

If Bulk Data SOAP API Access has not been enabled, the connection will fail until SanMar Canada activates it.

Suppliers That Connect Without Credentials

Supplier

Augusta Sportswear (Momentec)

No credentials needed — connects via the Momentec Augusta public data feed

Champro

No credentials needed

Decky

AS Colour US

Workwear Outfitters

Cutter & Buck

Custom Supplier

If your supplier is not on the list above, you can submit a Custom Supplier request. Provide all credential fields available to you (Username, Password, Additional Info) — these will be shared with our support team. After you save the custom supplier, our team will assess the integration and email you an update within 3 business days.

Troubleshooting

"Test Connection Failed"

  • Verify that the account credentials entered are accurate — credentials are case-sensitive.

  • Make sure the correct credential type is used for that supplier (for example, SanMar US requires FTP credentials, which may differ from a sanmar.com website login).

  • For S&S Activewear, confirm the Account Number is entered as the Username, not an email address.

  • For SanMar Canada, confirm Bulk Data SOAP API Access is enabled, and that the SOAP API password (not a website, media, or FTP password) is entered.

  • If credentials look correct but the test still fails, save the supplier in the app (do not paste passwords into chat), then contact support on chat in the bottom-right corner. Support can verify the saved supplier settings.

  • If needed, contact the supplier directly to verify account credentials.
