Total Variant Limits
Handling the 50,000 Variant Limit on Shopify
Shopify has a variant limit of 50,000 variants per store for most subscription plans, except for Shopify Plus. If you have more than 50,000 variants in your store, Shopify will restrict your ability to update them and manage your inventory.

To help merchants avoid this issue, Supply Master has a built-in limit of 45,000 variants that can be imported from suppliers. This way, merchants still have some room for adding or editing variants in their stores without exceeding the Shopify limit.
If you are not on Shopify Plus, you can use filters to select which variants you want to import from each supplier. For example, you can filter by color, size, price, or availability. This way, you can optimize the number of variants you are importing and avoid importing unnecessary variants that add to the variant count.
If you are using Shopify Plus, you can increase the variant limit on Supply Master by using an add-on under Manage Subscriptions. This will allow you to import more variants from suppliers. To increase variant limits, navigate to Manage Subscriptions and select appropriate check boxes. Once done, please click Save Subscription.
